Orders
An order is an offer to buy. A contract exists when we email you confirming dispatch — not when the site takes payment. Until then we may decline an order, and we will refund you in full if we do.
Prices and errors
Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax and shipping unless stated. We try hard to keep listings accurate, but if something is priced or described plainly wrongly we will contact you before processing, and you can confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
Stock
Stock moves, and a listing being live is not a guarantee we hold the item. If something is unavailable after you order, we will offer an alternative, a wait, or a full refund.
Payment
Payment is taken in full at checkout through our payment provider. We do not store your card details.
Delivery and risk
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and carrier delays are outside our control. Risk passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we have been paid in full. See the shipping policy.
Returns and warranty
Set out in our returns policy and warranty. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Fitting and use
An outboard must be fitted within the hull’s rated capacity and in line with the manufacturer’s instructions. Exceeding a hull’s rating is dangerous and voids your warranty. If you are not certain what your boat takes, ask us before you order — we would rather spend ten minutes on the phone than have you buy the wrong motor.
Content on this site
Guides and articles here are general information, not advice for your specific boat. Always follow the manufacturer’s manual for your motor.
Liability
We are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Privacy
How we handle your data is set out in our privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [your state], and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction.
